Enjoyed our back and forth on the smoking ban blog. I posted this in admittance of being a smart ass and thought you might enjoy it....

tumbleweed58 - I'm a smartass, no doubt about it. If you read my replies I never really get insulting unless I am responding to an insult. For sure, calling someone the village idiot, or a moron, is insulting depending on context. For example, the comments DaneLover made were articulate but had an edge, I always try to take as much as I give and I enjoyed that back and forth as much as I do with my friends (usually in a smoke filled bar). This doesn't mean that I am backtracking in any way on my position, just that when I call someone a moron or idiot or product of inbreeding, I'm doing just like I would in a discussion with my best friends, it gives an edge to the conversation and those with a little thick skin enjoy it a bit more. I hope that by finding some common ground of agreement that at least you'll believe that I am a bit more openminded than what my posts might imply.
